The recent controversy of Steven Streufert from Bigfoot Books wanting to work with Bigfoot hoaxer Tom Biscardi (to make money off at Bob Gimlin's expense) continues!
Here is Steven Streufert's quote:
"I wasn't working with our conspiring with Biscardi. He came by my shop and told me of his plans and proposition, and asked me to pass them on to Gimlin. That's what I did. If Biscardi was planning to come to Willow Creek, you'd think that Bob would want a heads-up. That's what he got, and an offer to have a public conversation with Bob Heironimus with a generous financial benefit. These were Tom Biscardi's plans, not mine; and I discouraged him from coming here without a prior agreement with Gimlin. If you want actual facts, that's what they are. None of this was secret or conspiratorial. I posted about it on the day it happened, and sent the idea right to Gimlin's 'manager.' So what??"
Steven Streufert in his Facebook group, Coalition for Critical Thinking in Bigfoot Research posted private screen captures of his conversation with Bob Gimlin's manger, Russell Acord doing the exact same thing he accused Russell Acord of being...a low life for posting private messages. However he did not post all of the screen shots. Here's a sample of what Steven chose to omit in his Facebook group:
The blue color is Russell Acord putting Steven in his place.
Sadly, cowardly Steven Streufert blocked Russell Acord before Russell could respond. Russell wanted to say "Grow up and get over yourself."
Be authentic. Be upfront. Don't hide behind your distorted truths when they are still a lie. Because from our point of view, deception is what's really going on while you're pretending to have Bob Gimlin's best interests. You pursued Russell Acord on this in hope for financial gain.

Steven posted this on an earlier post:
Hes trying to play hero while trying get Biscardi to have access to stress an elderly man. For money. To exploit thus from behind Biscardi. He should just fess up and then maybe... Sell a book or something.
ReplyDeleteNope, not at all. It is clearly shown below what I sent to Acord, which was a clear statement of someone else's offer, and a warning to he and Bob Gimlin that Biscardi planned to show up and possibly cause trobles nonetheless. That is called "giving them a heads-up," not conspiring against them. Acord knows this, but now he is out there lying trying to make himself look good, rather than what he is, the real problem at the 50th anniversary conference and the cause of the dissension that occurred.
DeleteWell, Biscardi is a known hoaxer, so anyone who's connected with him is one too. Sadly Gimlin is a public figure so you can only protect him so much. Why you guys allow hoaxers to be part of the bigfoot community is really the fault of the Bigfoot community.
ReplyDeleteI would point to the 2008 hoax by Rick Dyer, which Biscardi was a part of, then it turns out to be a fake and a man got ripped off for serious money. Then what happens? C'mon, what happened next? Rick Dyer comes back again makes all manner of claims and again and the Bigfoot community comes to him like moths to a flame. Then surprise, it's BS. Straight up BS right by the numbers, and these same people who knew all about the fakery in 2008 and were in bed with old Rick again in 2012 acted shocked.
This is why most of us serious guys don't have Youtube channels, blogs, webpages, or any of that crap. You guys don't police your own, you don't brand people and cast them out as the hoaxers they are, you want to embrace them and sign up for their tours and their training seminars.
I don't like what's going on with Bob but why do you allow them to come to the events? Why do you have them on your shows? And Bob has chosen to make his life doing this and he's gotta learn to take the good with the bad just like everyone else in the world. He doesn't get a by.
This was a set up attempt. A guy his age doesnt need the stress.
ReplyDeleteThen he needs to retire and write about his experience. Not bashing, but he's not an exhibit in a museum, if he's gonna do live audience participation, Q&A, whatever then he's gonna get hecklers and nay sayers, it just comes with the territory. Ask any stand-up comic or speech maker.
ReplyDeleteWho are picking on an 86 year man. Not justified. And this was a setup, so not kosher.
DeleteAcord parts clipped out, here's what was said in the "offer."

Great job on that Gimlin interview!

Thank you

Hey Russell,
Since you've been hanging out with Bob a lot lately, and know his schedule and all, I'd like to mention this to you.
It's not the easiest idea to deal with, but apparently it is going to happen one way or another in October.
Tom Biscardi has a bee in his bonnet, and he is planning to make a media event of this whether or not it works out as he wishes.
As you may know, he came to my shop in Willow Creek a while back and eventually proposed this idea.
Tom Biscardi proposed this, and then called the author of MAKING OF BIGFOOT, Greg Long and set me up to talk with him over the speakerphone. They have a proposition. They want to do some kind of a public debate and discussion where Bob Gimlin meets Bob Heironimus, and they "talk things over." Biscardi proposed that he and Greg Long would be on a panel in this discussion. The idea he suggested sounded interesting enough, but totally lopsided, like a gang-up set-up. I told him that if he wanted such a thing to happen it would be better to include someone like Meldrum and Munns to be part of presenting the "pro-PGF" perspective in the thing. Here is the kicker... they are offering $100K to Bob G. for doing this, if he'd promise to stick it out for a stipulated amount of time. I'd suspect that they would want to have a polygraph involved, but I don't know if that would be required. DO YOU THINK BOB WOULD DO THIS? I know the idea is annoying, but maybe Bob could use the cash, and a chance to defend himself against what these guys might say?
Here's the kicker. Biscardi says that he and his crew with Long will be coming to the events in Willow Creek in October, while Bob is supposed to be here, and that they will either do a public, arranged discussion (if Bob agrees) or they will try to get the media's attention and make a scene of it. I think this is a bit troublesome, as they will likely try to say that Bob "chickened out" and wouldn't meet them, and therefore must be lying.
You know how it goes.
I know I'd find the discussion very interesting, but I suspect that Bob would be weary of such questioning. Maybe Bob could use the cash? They are also prepared to offer Meldrum some $10K and Munns $5K to do it, they told me.
What do you think?
Steven
BTW, Biscardi insisted he had the cash on reserve, and that he would deposit it into some kind of trust or escrow account upon an agreement being made.
I tried to inquire if he was really serious about coming here anyway, and he insists that yes, he is going to do it.
Steven
I would have just called Bob, but I didn't know when might be a good time, and also I didn't want to upset him with this idea at a bad time, or present it in a way that could cause him any grief.
Do know, I consider myself a friend of Bob, and an agnostic on the PGF. I certainly am not "siding" with Biscardi on this matter. For whatever reason, he asked me to try to bridge the gap, as he knows I know a lot of Bigfooting people, and Bob wouldn't answer the door the time that Biscardi came to his house in Yakima.
I dunno. For a hundred grand it might be worth it. I know Bob would look good and impress people in whatever he does, and there's little way that they are going to get him to change any of his story of the events of 1967 besides.
Steven
Your views on this would be appreciated.
.................
THE REST...
DeleteRussell Acord
Let me discuss this with Bob, ....
In any case, I thought Bob ought to have a heads-up on this, that Biscardi was planning something.
Ok, on the above.
You know how Biscardi is. He likes to pull media events, stunts. He's saying that he'll have Bob Heironimus, Philip Morris' wife, and Greg Long the author there. Hence, whether we like it or not, he's going to attract some attention.
Russell Acord
That might be a poor decision ....
Indeed. He could get his ass kicked.
But he might actually like that, getting on the news with it.
His telling me this idea and passing on the offer is I suppose his way of letting Bob know, and not to blindside him out of the blue.
I know. We don't want Bob to suffer some ill effects from stress and strife
I'm not sure they'd do anything "underhanded." They will say something like, "All we wanted to do was talk."
Russell Acord
Okay, but they will need to respect his wishes
Steven
Who knows? Bob could get some nice cash, and put Heironimus in his place once and for all, if he did it.
Indeed, they will.
I'd hate to see some media stunt here in WCK, with them getting the media around and calling Bob a liar, and possibly spoiling the anniversary and his birthday in any way.
That's kind of a bribe, at least that's how it makes me feel. That if Bob doesn't do it, they'll "get him" on the news.
Hey, Russell,
Did you ever get to talk to Bob about this thing with Biscardi?
Russell Acord
Yeah, Bob said that he is not interested in that.
You can tell Biscardi to call me if you like.
Steve:
Yeah, well... be aware that Biscardi has said that he is going to be here nonetheless, and likely will be in Eureka for the second day of the conference. Mainly a heads up... he'll try his damnedest to get this into the media, with his face on it. Hopefully, they won't try to disrupt the celebration and conference for Bob and the rest of us.
You are coming here for the 50th, right?
It might be a good thing to consider how one would respond to a Biscardi/Long/Heironimus challenge, if they really do show up.
OK... I'll tell Biscardi to talk with you as a representative for Bob, then.
LOL.
So, even the $100K wouldn't get Bob to budge?
.... INDEED!
Didn't Bob turn down a million dollar offer in the pasrt?
Can I quote you on that last part in a message to Biscardi's son?
I passed on your phone number to him, as you'd said.
Do you recall who offered the million bucks?
Russell Acord
No
Steven
Yeah, I've tried to find the source on that quote, but to no current avail.
Keep that one handy if Biscardi does show up in WCK.
Steven
Can I quote you on this?:
"His story is about his integrity...they want to challenge that, he has nothing to prove...they put a price on that...makes them look bad"
Hey Russell,
Can you confirm if or if not... is Bob G. coming to WCK on the 18th or earlier for the birthday celebration thing....
THAT'S IT.
NOT SO SINISTER, IS IT?
LOL.
You conspired to exploit Bob you maggot. Bluff Creek Project cred forever stained by Steven stench.

DeleteOwn up to your role in this. Apologize to Bob. Exploiter. Troll.
DeleteLast I looked it was RICTOR RIOLO who had joined the Biscardi "Family," and was best buds with Dyer as they laughed about Gimlin supposedly being a hoaxer.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't working with our conspiring with Biscardi. He came by my shop and told me of his plans and proposition, and asked me to pass them on to Gimlin. That's what I did. I will meet with anyone who comes by my shop, and I didn't mind at all meeting Biscardi. Even Rictoid Polio visited there. So what? My only interest in this whole thing was learning about people, and the history of the PGF and Bigfoot, as always. It would be great if Gimlin would take on Heironimus, in my view because I don't think Heironimus is telling the truth.
Yeah, I talked some Bigfoot guy, Biscardi, like I do more or less every day as they come through here. I've been saying for a decade that Bob Gimlin should talk with Bob Heironimus and finally debunk that guy's fake story about being in Bluff Creek. Gimlin's story remains the same, and it holds true, short of proving the film subject; but the Greg Long/Heironimus story is shot full of holes and contradictions. I'd love to see the latter debunked.
These are the actual facts, and only myself and Biscardi, and his lady assistant who was there know what really happened and what was said and done. That lying Russell Acord knows damn well what I told him in the messages I sent to him, which I guess I posted here above so you will have more of the actual, real facts. I'm sure you'll just try to misread and distort those, too, though.
There was no 'conspiracy,' you dork. Biscardi wanted to pay for a public discussion with Bob Heironimus and Bob Gimlin. He asked me to pass on the offer, so I presented it to Russell Accord, Rictor's "Face Off" buddy, who has been acting as Gimlin's agent. So what? Nothing was "outed" or secretive. I discouraged Biscardi from showing up to the conference if Gimlin hadn't approved. There was no ambush, as obviously Gimlin would have known about the event had he agreed to it. This article is just more senseless drama-making by Rictor over absolutely nothing.
Its proof you exploit and bully the eldery. You EVIL evil troll.
DeleteSays "you," the EVIL evil troll. Get a life, scumsucker.

What is wrong with having dinner with someone and passing on a business proposition to someone else? What's sleazy is you, and your slimy trolling. Bluff Creek and Willow Creek? I live here. I've lived in Humboldt County since 1993. It's within my rightful purview to talk about and study local history and events? Why are YOU so concerned with it?
ReplyDeleteI publicly posted about this and visiting with Biscardi on the SAME DAY it happened. Nothing was ever hidden. There was no conspiracy or secrecy.
I'm the one who advised Biscardi AGAINST coming here, unless he had an arrangement with Gimlin.
It wasn't my "plan," and it wasn't anything that was meant to surprise Gimlin. How could I "get caught" if we had a whole long discussion about it on Facebook that very same day?? Shame on YOU, you lying troll. Back you your bridge, scumboy.
Genius? I don't say that. My last IQ test was 150, though, which is indeed considered to be genius-level. Who are YOU? Do you actually do anything that matters, other than trolling me every day? Not that I've ever seen. You just hide and lie and conspire and sneak around and gossip and troll... that is what YOU do, not me.z
Neighboring research teams? Which ones? We busted Johnson and his silly SOHA portal hoax. He is the only other one around here, since we have Bobo and Bart and all the other good ones on your team. Sorry... you're so jealous of that.
I don't "team up with hoaxers." But I'll talk with them if they come into my bookstore. Jeez, man, don't you have any better material than this?
It was RICTOR who teamed up with Biscardi, even pretending to be part of the "Godfather's" "Family." Ha ha ha. AND... he's buddies with Rick Dyer, too. They both sit around laughing at Gimlin, mocking, calling him a hoaxer. Pathetic. Get on their case instead, why don't you?
There is no crime in talking with Biscardi. So what?? I know pretty damn well what the truth is, especially since you're sitting here trying to talk about something that involved me and my life. I know exactly what happened and why. You on the other hand are just passing gas which for you passes for thought. Sad little troll, so what if Biscardi offered Gimlin some money to talk? It was hardly my business at all, save that Biscardi wanted the message passed on.
There was no trolling. No way would I ever get anything out of this. GIMLIN was the guy who was offered money, by Biscardi, to be placed in an escrow or trust account until the even occurred. It didn't. End of story.
I had nothing to do with the thing, save that Biscardi knew I could easily contact Gimlin, and it was to happen in my town, if it were to happen.
THAT IS ALL, CrytoBlast troll. Stop trying to make hay out of vapors.
This was hardly "brokering a deal." It was simply passing on information, which were I Gimlin I would have like to have heard. No big deal at all, save in your puny gnat's mind.
I was simply the messenger, not an "agent" or a "broker." I passed along the message, and Russell sent me his cell phone number and told me that I could give it to them if they wanted to call him. Done, on my end. No brokering, negotiating, or anything. So... STFU, idiot.
Says the shut in harrassing the Elderly. You started this si man up and apologize.
DeleteRictor Riolo is the one who laughed and joked about Bob Gimlin being a hoaxer. Now look at him, with his head buried in Russel's arse.
ReplyDeleteIt was GIMLIN who would have benefited. All I would have seen out of this was maybe a really interesting conversation between two Yakima neighbors who were both a part of the Patterson story in some way.
Somehow Biscardi thought he could himself benefit from this, perhaps by video-recording the event, or getting himself in the news again. I dunno. He said that whenever Bigfoot is in the news the stock in his publicly-traded company goes up. Whatever. That is HIS business, not mine. I do NOT own stock in Searching For Bigfoot or whatever it is called.
You know, LOTS of people contact me about this area, where to stay or camp, or how to get to Bigfoot hotspots or the PGF site, or what-the-F-ever. That does NOT make me a "broker" or "agent" for the local hotel businesses, or the Chamber of Commerce (not a member), nor for the USFS. In fact, all of this stuff COSTS me money, and time, all of the time.
SO really, DO STFU, fool.
It was a fair offer to Bob Gimlin. I figured he should know, and be forewarned that Biscardi planned to come here one way or another, and wanted to make a media event of it. I told Russell Acord all about this, so that they would know what might happen, and to be prepared for it.
And yes, of course you, pathetic little you, would take $100K for two hours of talking. Admit it. That's a good deal, don't you think?
I knew I had nothing to gain from this, save to avoid some kind of ambush of Gimlin with a media gang here in my hometown. I didn't want to see that. I also figured Gimlin would just say no, which he did. Done. No big deal, no trolling, nothing dark. Eventually Biscardi decided not to come, which was a good thing, I think.
The money was for Bob Gimlin, if he wanted it.
Would you turn down $100,000.00 for two hours of conversation?
None of this was about me. I just passed along the message, since the last time Biscardi was in Yakima Gimlin wouldn't answer the front door.
Wouldn't it be awesome to see Gimlin, Munns and Meldrum debating Heironimus, Long, and Phillip Morris' wife, with Biscardi? YEAH, IT WOULD. Who do you think would win, eh?
What the hell are you talking about?
DeleteRictor being gay does not exempt him from all criticism.
No one was picking on the elderly, you fool. I saw Bob here in Willow Creek and Eureka, and he was as friendly to me as ever.
Stop trying to make something out of nothing.
Not does having a stroke free up someone for Free Nob nonsense or you from harrassing and conspiring against Gimlin.
DeleteYou at Cryto Blast, including that Russel Acord, are truly full of shite.
ReplyDeleteNO, I did not expect to get paid a dime from Biscardi. I thought it was a great idea though to have Gimlin and Heironimus have a public discussion on the history of the film. If this is never dealt with, with Greg Long there too, there will always be a cloud that hangs over this unresolved issue. The issue? The fables told by Bob Heironimus about his supposedly being in Bluff Creek. By all that he says about the area it is obvious he was never there.
Re. the private messages... I posted MY WORDS from the discussion, to which I have every right. I cut out the little that Acord said so as to avoid publishing his private statements, as stuid as they were.
This and your other article are making drama out of NOTHING. You are intentionally smearing the truth and trying to slander me, when you were not even there, and even using my own public statements which I consciously and knowingly made from the very start. There is NOTHING to hide, no secret agenda. Except for what YOU are doing. It is called libel.
And also, it is called theft. Stop using my photos and words not posted here on you stupid little BS blog.
Rictor, you should be ashamed of your scummy false friendship and duplicitous fakeness around Bob Gimlin, whom YOU yourself have called a hoaxer. What hypocrisy! You're a pathetic examle of humanity.
You say that and prove your GUILT with your own posts. You tried to exploit Bob. You are in the Biscardi family. The coalition in league with hoaxers. Trolls and hoaxers and exploiters sitting in a tree.

DeleteShows that you were in on the plot.
DeleteEven if Gimlin swore at Yammerone, it was Bobs party and Yammerone was being the bearer of sour grapes. Same as the douche from ohio. YOU are part of the exploiters!
ReplyDeleteYou first. You started it so man up and make thing right troll.
