Sasquatch Photos Snapped on July 4th, 2013, Show a Lumbering Monster or Man in a Suit?

A fresh batch of Bigfoot photos appeared online (in 2013), and for a monster who has a bad habit of never standing still enough to get a good look, these images show some of the clearest images of the big guy since the Patterson film.

By Greg Newkirk from The Week in Weird:

The pictures were reportedly snapped on July 4th on Table Rock Lake near Kimberling City, Missouri, and appear to show an extremely large, fur-covered humanoid strolling along the water’s edge. The photos were posted online by Angelique Christensen, a member of the Paranormal Distraction investigation group, who said she was sharing the images for the gentleman who captured them, but declined to name the man.

“When I saw these pics I had to get permission to post them to have them analyzed,” she wrote on Facebook. “If it is a person and a hoax they must [have] been dropped off at shore, but according to the story the man was out fishing in the coves with his family/friends and this is what they saw… Several people had witnessed it.”

  1. Well, it's a fake Bigfoot, that is it's a guy in a monkey suit. Personally, I'd have thought you guys might have screened these a bit better, let's be honest, I seriously doubt Bigfoot goes around wearing a belt. However, that's what happens when you put a guy in a suit that is too big for him or her as the case may be.

Oh, and let Week in Weird handle all the fakes.

  2. I find it hard to believe that people (anymore )would dare put on a suit and try to fake being Bigfoot as many people want to shoot it and bring one in for evidence. You're taking a pretty big risk I'd say. Don't think its a bear. As a bio major its pretty lame to think there are discoveries out there that haven't been made. These creatures are smart and have been successful but we are populating ever inch of the planet so it's only logical that we start seeing them more because we are killing off and removing the very habitat that hides them and keeps them safe. It's really not that hard to rationalize!

  3. I love the possibility of a Bigfoot. But let's face it, that possibility is remote. I mean if you investigators were serious about really capturing one on video or capturing one in person how hard would it really be. I mean go deep into the Forrest in a popular sighting area like the Rockies and set up game cameras and infrared around a Mile radius with a good bait in the middle. Hunters in high in tree stands with tranquilizer rifles and wait and wait. It's an animal. It will eventually come. What's so hard. Or maybe it does just not live anymore. If it ever did. Yes you may need to wait weeks or longer but so what. Invest the money and time and these questions will be answered. Ridiculous really to think that it can't just be hunted if it exists.
