Paranormal event in Indiana to scare away cystic fibrosis

A paranormal event at a "haunted" old infirmary in Indiana— attended by several TV and movie actors — will raise awareness and money to fight cystic fibrosis.

From The Star Press:

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 25, the Randolph County Infirmary, which is said to be haunted, will be hosting a free paranormal event, RCI-Con 1 along with Chad Lindberg, known for his roles in "Fast and the Furious," "Supernatural," "Sons of Anarchy" and "Ghost Stalkers."

Cystic fibrosis personally affects the lives of Winchester resident Chris Musgrove, and his 5-year-old son, Easton, who was diagnosed with the disease at birth.

Resident Undead is Musgrove’s team of fellow paranormal investigators — and they will be sponsoring the event.

Members of this team have been seen on SyFy, Destination America and Travel Channel and have been raising awareness for their campaign on social media with the hashtags #FIGHTCF and #EASTONSLUGGERS.

RCI-Con 1 will include food vendors, a bounce house for children, live music by Eric Charles and lectures by the celebrity guests including paranormal investigator and media personality Tim Shaw and Ghost Hunts USA and Psychic Medium founder, Tyler Evans.

Attendees can walk through the first floor (where the vendors and speakers are) for free.

There is a $10 fee for a tour of the entire infirmary, which dates back to the late 1800s.

Tickets are on sale for a paranormal VIP event on June 24, and a similar event on June 25 when the free daytime event ends.

Law enforcement and private security will be present, since RCI has a strict ban on drugs or alcohol.

Liability waivers must be signed for tours and the bouncy house.
