Canada, The Northern neighbor of the United States has been a hotbed of Sasquatch sightings for several decades, especially in the province of British Columbia. In 1924, then-skeptical prospector Albert Ostman reported being captured and held captive by a family of Sasquatch for six days in the Toba Inlet area. In observing his captors, Ostman noted that the family—comprised of an older
male, female and two young ones—communicated in an unfamiliar chatter that involved expressive arm movements. Ostman eventually escaped after feeding the older male Sasquatch ground tobacco, making his hairy kidnapper groggy enough for the Canadian prospector to get out of there undetected. Video after the jump.
