The Australian Yowie

Australia Residents of the Blue Mountains area near Sydney, Australia, have spent the past several decades trading tales of a mysterious creature who bears a strong resemblance to Bigfoot. Commonly known as the "Yowie" by locals, some witnesses have reported seeing the creature several hundred times, and their accounts describe it as possessing a very tall and dark-hair-covered body, a hairless face with multiple skin folds and red eyes. Several people in the area also noted finding large teeth marks in trees where the Yowie were likely biting the bark in search of grubs. More after the jump.

The Finding Bigfoot Team went to Australia to investigate the Australian version of Bigfoot, the Yowie. This bizarre story involved a man who believes he saw a Yowie at his window and woke to find that his goats were savagely attacked.

Matt Moneymaker went and did a solo investigation near Mount Warren Park while the rest of his team followed up with eyewitness accounts. To watch a small video about their exiting Yowie investigation, click here.
