Sasquatch: The Search for a New Man (An Excerpt)

Thom Cantrall is a well known bigfoot author and speaker at bigfoot conferences. He has had many encounters with sasquatch and has written quite a few books on this hairy creature. However, his experience with sasquatch is different than most. Bigfoot talks to him. Educates him. Guides him through what is called "mindspeak." As one would expect, that kind of experience would be life changing. More after the jump.

The following is an excerpt from Thom Cantrall's book, Sasquatch: The Search for a New Man.

"This place where you are going, is there a stack of wood alongside the road there next to the river?"

These were the words of my mentor as I we were discussing my pending trip to the upper Touchet (pronounced two-she) river in southeastern Washington state on 25, September 2010. 

"I see a large male with a red stripe on his chest looking A cross a pile of logs at you." My teacher has said he is there to meet you.

Thus began the journey I continue today. I had responded that I knew not what lay on that road as I had never traveled before. I had been on that ridge top on both sides of this canyon, but I had never ventured into the canyon itself. The land there belong to the Indians. It had been deeded to them by the Boise cascade company and the Umatilla reservation I created a public access hunting area that only recently been open for access by the general population. 

I made my plans then to travel up that road as far as I could in my car or until I found this deck of logs my mentor was describing. As it turned out, it was not difficult at all to locate it. It was nearly about a half truck load of logs have been cleared from the road right-of-way weatherproof it's redone that allowed access. They had been completely stacked to be transformed into firewood by some tribal member so needing it. What I located this feature I stopped and made that my base camp for the experience that was to come… An experience it was to change my life!
