Rictor Riolo vs Steven Streufert - An Editorial

In the world of Bigfoot there is nothing but drama, personal differences, online trolling, and egos running a muck. "Off the Rictor" is a YouTube show poking fun at the circus known as the Bigfoot community. As with anything that is public, there are those that hate and attack from the safety of their computer monitors and target Rictor Riolo and his popular YouTube Bigfoot show.

One of Rictor Riolo's commentators and online antagonists is Steven Streufert from Bigfoot Books in Willow Creek. Steven has been featured on many Bigfoot television shows, podcasts, and was even featured in the movie, "Willow Creek". Yet Steven seems to think he is above social commentary or criticisms for what he says in videos and what he posts online in his social media, cyber bulling, Facebook group, "Coalition for Critical Thinking in the World of Bigfoot."  I have spent quite a bit of time investigating this Bigfoot pestilence who claims to be a scholar and an intellectual. When at the end of the day, he's a hypocrite and a cyber bully playing the victim card in his Facebook group's propaganda.

Steven Streufert posted this quote online:
"I strongly encourage anyone who has been attacked by Rictor to file a privacy complaint. Report his videos for harassment and bullying. Is he using your image and/or videos in his productions? File copyright violations and do it often. THREE STRIKES is all a channel needs in order to be shut down by YouTube. If you have had enough, take the five minutes and file those reports. I am all for RESPONSIBLE free speech. Personal and unwarranted attacks on people have no place in a civilized society."
Suffice to say, Rictor's channel is in good standing.

The question I pose is, why is Rictor Riolo such a threat to Steven Streufert?

Another comment Steven Streufert made was:
"Time to get OFF THE SHITTCTOR.
Flush this turd already.
Ricotta is hiding the real truth. In actual fact the previous video was removed because of... violation of privacy, hate speech, sexual bad taste, "Bigfoot dildos," foul language, use of personal images and video, "cripple-mocking," and slander."
The definition of slander is: 1. the action or crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation.

It isn't slander when there is a plethora of documentation splattered all over Steven's Facebook group. Steven may claim he is a private person, but in fact he's not. He is a public figure in the world of Bigfoot. By appearing in movies, television shows and appearing at conferences and providing interviews on the subject of Sasquatch, his claim for privacy is invalid. He is subject for parody, satire, and social criticism. You can't have your cake and eat it too, buddy.

Changing a person's name from Rictor to Ricotta doesn't protect you, Steven Streufert, from smearing someone in your Facebook group. You are still attacking the same person.

Is Steven Streufert devoid of having a sense of humor? Is he a psychopath? Does he really take himself that seriously? Psychopaths don't like to lose. He dominates every conversation in his Facebook group. He discredits anyone with an inclination to discredit him. Psychopaths are always right.

Watch this video and ask yourself, is this Steven Streufert?

Steven has made the claim that Rictor Riolo is a hoaxer and a stalker.
"To festering Hell with this scumbag stalker creep, Rictoid Polio."
We found this humorous exchange with Steven Streufert and his one-time romantic friend, Nadia Moore:

We counted how many times Steven said the name "Rictor" in his Facebook group for the year 2018. Sixteen times. He also uses the nick names "Rico Ricotta" or "Rico Roly-Polio" or "Rico Rolly-Polly" or "Rictoid"—just to name a few, to mask his online attacks.

Perhaps Rictor should accuse Steven Streufert a stalker himself? The evidence is there and speaks for itself.

Steven has also mocked Bigfoot legend, Bob Gimlin in his Facebook group.

And

And

And

The above mockery was probably the worst thing Streufert posted about Bob Gimlin. The man has no shame, no guilt, or consciousness. No consideration for other people and their feelings. Not even Bob Gimlin's.

Steven sits there in his bookstore, seven days a week, 365 days a year, Facebook stalking and harassing people who are trying to enjoy their Bigfoot hobby. The amount of energy he puts out to hurt people online is disturbing. Most folks are in this community to share, learn or find friends to share a commonality. Many are nice old people just wanting a feeling of belonging and to feel accepted...and they even want someone to talk to. Not be ridiculed.

His excuse for verbally assaulting people online: "This is criticism of a claim within a field of study."

This is Bigfoot. There is no field of study. It's a hobby.

His ego now makes the claim his Facebook group is some form of peer review.

Steven then makes the claim that his group is a form of parody. A form of satire.

You can't have your cake and eat it too. Rictor Riolo's "Off the Rictor" is satire. Parody. And according to Steven Streufert, so is his Facebook group. Or is it peer review? It's so confusing.

His online harassment of Arla Cailleach Williams was painful and disturbing to witness (regarding her having a different opinion on what Bigfoot is). She had done nothing to Steven to warrant such constant daily harassment. She's an old lady who thinks Bigfoot is her forest friend. She wrote a book and speaks at Bigfoot conferences.

Steven also encourages his Facebook readers to attack other groups online...because he got banned for being an online troll. Here's a tissue, Steven.

But then he contradicts himself here:

Always the victim. And then he was willing to sleep with the devil, Tom Biscardi, regarding an exposé on Bob Gimlin.

Steven Streufert met with the infamous Tom Biscardi when Tom presented Steven a financial compensation if he could get Bob Gimlin to agree to a round table discussion...where Biscardi would confront Bob Gimlin on whether or not he was a hoaxer. Steven went as far to approach Russell Acord, Bob Gimlin's manager.

When Streufert's duplicitous nature was revealed, this was his defense:
"There was no 'conspiracy,' you dork. Biscardi wanted to pay for a public discussion with Bob Heironimus and Bob Gimlin. He asked me to pass on the offer, so I presented it to Russell Accord, Rictor's "Face Off" buddy, who has been acting as Gimlin's agent. So what? Nothing was "outed" or secretive. I discouraged Biscardi from showing up to the conference if Gimlin hadn't approved. There was no ambush, as obviously Gimlin would have known about the event had he agreed to it. This article is just more senseless drama-making by Rictor over absolutely nothing."
You can read more here.

Shame!

One of Steven Streufert's many criticisms of Rictor Riolo is that Rictor is friends with the infamous hoaxer, Rick Dyer. Rictor's reason, "Dyer doesn't pretend to be anything else. He's authentic with his hoaxing, unlike the majority of self-proclaimed researchers who are truly hoaxers...think wolves in sheep clothing."

At least Rictor isn't trying to sell out his friend Bob Gimlin for the sake of monetary gain. At least Rictor isn't pretending to be a mediator like Steven claimed with Biscardi. At least Rictor isn't being duplicitous. Rictor doesn't pretend to be a victim.

Steven seems to have quite a few online enemies and trolls and we can clearly see why. He engages with them on a daily basis. Steven Streufert's online two-faced behavior is not above reproach. Let's repeat that, shall we? Steven Streufert's online duplicitous behavior is not above reproach.

We think that Steven Streufert likes to rattle the cage and appear as though he's a victim. He is documented to post photos like that of people (unbeknownst to them) to set them up for online attacks and ridicule in his Facebook group.

Everything has been documented and is being featured in Rictor Riolo's forth coming book. Including threats of violence by Steven's Facebook group's members.

At the end of the day, it's all a game to Steven Streufert. But not everyone wants to play this twisted chess game on his terms. That is where I think Rictor Riolo is a threat to Steven Streufert. His Bigfoot audience is far reaching and by roasting Steven Streufert the way Rictor does, it's offensive to Steven's ego and self-manifested delusion of grandeur.

Is Steven Streufert a victim? No, he is not. It is also a possibility he is responsible for upsetting Tom Yamerone to the point where Tom assaulted Rictor at the Patterson Gimlin 50th anniversary. When Tom was hitting Rictor, he repeatedly mentioned Steven Streufert's name and how bad of a person Rictor Riolo was.

If Rictor Riolo is such an evil abomination in the world of Bigfoot, why did Tom Yamerone and Steven Streufert sell him a ticket for the event? Just to assault him and publicly trash him? We allege, yes. It appears it was a setup. Did Steven intend to have Rictor physically assaulted? That remains to be seen.

Where Steven Streufert needs to accept responsibility is the fact that his Facebook group is responsible for sending Bob Gimlin unsolicited hate mail by using screen captures Steven took of Rictor Riolo to attack an 87-year old man.

Here are the screen captures Steven shared with his group:

And here was what was sent to Bob Gimlin:

Steven needs to accept responsibility for this. It's because of his Facebook group and his incessant trolling of Rictor Rictoid Ricotta Riolo Rollyio Polio that an old man was targeted with hate. THAT is stalking.

The envelope was canceled in Oakland, California and mail sent from Willow Creek, California is canceled in Oakland. Makes you wonder who sent that letter with no return address using images captured and posted online by Steven Streufert?

Does Rictor engage in online trolling? No. He makes videos roasting these public figures. He holds people accountable for their actions. For example, the Halloween video below that Steven and his association of cyber bullies attempted to take down. Enjoy.

  1. Why does he have gangliphobia? Some were behind the wall for over a year and know stuff.

  2. Soundslike someone got his feeling hurt and needs a hug. Rictor loves to hug the guys he hurt. Go see him.

    1. Yes now apparently he sent a letter to stir the pot as well. Does the evil know no boundaries?

  4. He takes advantage of the keyboard tough guy syndrome... he types his cowardly comments and spews his hateful comments because of his insecurities. This is all he has, his trusty keyboard but zero self esteem. You stand in the same room and it’s all radio silence until he retreats back to his unsanitary conditions at the book store. Glove up and wear a particulate mask if you dare to set foot inside. I have invited a face to face conversation, he took it as a threat... seriously snowflake? Since when has a face to face conversation ever been that scary unless you know that you’re too bold on a computer and just maybe someone will hold you accountable... if you haven’t got the courage to say it to someone’s face, you shouldn’t type it, that’s for cowards. I would gladly meet up to discuss. I will say this, Rictor is much more authentic, at least he will say it to you personally and accept the consequences. I remember when Steven reached out to ‘broker’ a deal for that Biscardi and Gimlin meeting... he was already talking money... that’s what bottom feeders do. I even announced that I was coming to Willow Creek earlier this year, asked to meet any of them... they claimed it to be a threat.... but went to town talking smack once I got back home. I will be back to Willow Creek in a couple months if any of these guys want to meet up and discuss any issues.... stand by for a list of excuses.
