Spike TV Is Off The Air!


Spike TV is no longer. The cable network that was marketed toward men brought us the Ten Million Dollar Bigfoot Bounty. And is now being rebranded as The Paramount Network.

Spike TV arrived in 2003, promoting itself as “the network for men” and became known for airing action movies and shows like “Bar Rescue” and “Lip Sync Battle.” Plus it was always airing reruns of "Cops" and The Star Wars movies as marathons. The change to Paramount Network, envisioned as a prestige network on par with AMC, HBO or Netflix, took place on January 18th.
