NBCU, Celestial delve into paranormal

Most Haunted investigates whether ghosts actually exist.

Broadcasters NBCUniversal (NBCU) and Celestial Tiger Entertainment have picked up paranormal programming from Singapore’s Bomanbridge Media.

NBCU’s Syfy channel in Asia has acquired anthology show A Haunting, which depicts eyewitness accounts of possession, exorcism, and ghostly encounters.

Syfy has also picked up RIP Files, which follows paranormal investigators based in Washington DC who attempt to use psychic abilities to interact with the entities they encounter at haunted locations.

Celestial has added Most Haunted to the schedule of its horror network Thrill. The series follows paranormal investigations attempting to find out whether ghosts actually exist.

“Bomanbridge carries great paranormal content within the catalogue and with the expansion of paranormal genre and channels in Asia, we hope to maintain our edge in this entertaining genre,” said Sonia Fleck, CEO of Bomanbridge Media.
