Paranormal investigators are probing whether climbers inadvertently snapped pictures of an alien space craft at the summit of a mountain.

Two pictures taken of climbers at the summit of Mount Washington in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, USA, appear to show an unidentified flying object (UFO).
An unnamed witness has sent the images to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) for investigation.
In a report to US-based MUFON, the world's biggest organisation dedicated to the investigation of alien and UFO sightings, the man said: "I noticed the object in the background of two photos that were taken of me and my daughter and her friend on the top of Mount Washington when I zoomed in on them.
"Both photos were taken by another person at the summit. Both photos were taken no more than five seconds apart."
