When Vancouver sculptor Penny Birnam created the four heads seen here for my exhibit at the Vancouver Museum in 2004, she posed an interesting thought. I actually expected that she would make just one head, but when I arrived to view her work, she set before me four heads and said, "I made them all different because I expect the creatures would have different facial features."
Generally speaking, primates other than humans have very similar facial features within their specific species. Other animals are so similar that it is difficult to tell them apart. We would not have any trouble identifying the individuals Penny created if they were real. If sasquatch do have this human-related characteristic, then they might be genetically closer to humans than some of us think
