A former US marine has sensationally claimed military base Guantanamo Bay was a magnet for UFOs, but servicemen were ordered never to discuss it off the site.
The whistleblower said: "When I stood guard duty on the south side of the base, I witnessed on many, many nights UFOs landing and taking off out of the ocean.

The unnamed man has come forward 50 years after the incidents to break a silence over a baffling series of events when he was stationed at the Cuban base in 1968 and 1969.
He claimed he and colleagues regularly saw UFOs flying in and out of the sea next to Guantanamo.
The man also described an extraordinary event where a blue-lighted UFO was directly above him and a colleague.
He has written a testimony for the US-based Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), the world's largest organisation dedicated to recording and investigating UFO and alien sightings.
The man, who says he was on fence line duty said UFO were seen over the base, which was later used to house suspected Islamic terrorists after the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Centre, on an almost daily basis.
He said: "All of us Marines were amazed at the amount of UFO activity over and around this base.
“Virtually every night UFOs were flying overhead with altitudes of less than 300 feet.
“Most of these UFOs were approximately 50 to 100 feet across, but to the naked eye came off as a dull, hazy hull with a small red light trailing behind it."
