This is brilliant! A Kickstarter campaign was hoping to raise $10,000 in 60 days so they could build a low earth cube satellite to search for UFO's. They were unsuccessful with their first try at crowd sourcing using Indiegogo. Not giving up, they went to Kickstarter and exceeded their goal by $770.
“If you’re watching a live feed from the International Space Station, it can suddenly cut out and they’ll say, ‘Oh, we lost the signal.’ But we will have total control of everything. Nobody will alter or corrupt our data so that the government can’t cover up what we may find. This is all ours".
